04318 Fix-O-Dur Ec 2K Wash Primer
About the product
04318 Fix-O-Dur EC is a quick-drying 2K corrosion-inhibiting gray wash primer, lead- and chromate-free. Suitable for painting cars as primers on bare areas.
PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE
Steel plate: Degrease with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW, sand if necessary.
Aluminium, light alloys, zinc-plated sheet: Degrease with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW.
Stainless steel plate: Grind and degrease with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW.
Old Coatings: Do not apply to solvent sensitive films (i.e. T.P.A.)
Putty and polyester primers: It can be applied to sanded polyester primers, while putty and polyester primers must never be applied 04318 FIX-O-DUR EC.
Always check beforehand the adhesion on aluminum alloys and on zinc-coated steel plate.

04318 is applied with a spray gun.
