About the product

8-615 HS420 High Production Clear is a high-quality polyurethane clear coat. Specially developed for air drying and is also suitable for low bake and forced drying.

This 2K clear coat has been developed for application on top of Debeer Refinish solvent (BeroBase 500 Series) and water-based base colors (WaterBase 900) which provide a good, durable, beautiful finish.

A 2K clear coat is a two-component coating system that requires a hardener to activate the curing process. This clear coat is mixed 3:1, which means 3 parts clear coat and 1 part HS420 hardener + 10% uni thinner.

Recommended application. Spray viscosity at 20 °C 16-18 s 4 mm D. The spray gun setup is HE 1.2-1.4 mm nozzle and air pressure of 2-2.5 bar / 29-36 PSI.

The clear coat is applied in 1½ - 2 layers 50 - 80 μm (2.0-3.2 mil). 1.5 layers: No flash off between layers. 2 layers: 5-10 min. flash off between layers.
