Color of the Year 2019 - Sahara
For the first time in its five-year history, Axalta 's Automotive Color of the Year is created for both production and the aftermarket. Sahara is a golden bronze color that radiates warmth, richness and strength for vehicles of all sizes - especially in the growing global truck and SUV market - and which can also serve as the primary color in a two-tone paintwork, including black roofs.
Sahara is partly inspired by global trends in warmer shades, highlighted in the company's annual "Global Automotive Color Popularity Report". Yellow/gold vehicles are more popular in India and China, while brown/beige colors are more popular in North America, more so than in any other region.
