About the product
Q-Refinish 40-250 2K HS Fillprimer is a high-performance two-component filler primer with a mixing ratio of 4:1 by volume (+ 10%). It has an excellent surface quality, very good filling properties and is easy to sand. With active corrosion protection, it offers direct adhesion to iron, steel, aluminum and galvanized surfaces.
Mixing and Diluting:
Mix paint and hardener in a ratio of 4:1 by volume.
Add 10-20% 99-200 acrylic thinner normal.
Application:
Viscosity: 25-30 seconds at 4 mm DIN.
Application: 2-3 spray layers.
Nozzle size: 1.6 - 1.8 mm at 1.6 - 2.0 bar (HVLP: 1.6 - 1.8 mm at 1.6 - 2.0 bar).
Layer thickness: 140-210 µm.
Drying:
At 20°C:
With 40-250HEF Extra fast and 40-250HF Fast: Can be sanded after 3-4 hours.
With 40-250HN Normal: Sandable after 5 hours.
At 60°C:
With 40-250HEF Extra fast and 40-250HF Fast: Sandable after 30 minutes.
With 40-250HN Normal: Sandable after 40 minutes.
IR drying:
Shortwave: 8 minutes.
Medium wave: 10-15 minutes.
Sanding: Use P500/P600 sandpaper for a smooth finish.
Safety: Read msds use appropriate respiratory protection (type A2/P3).
