What are dent repair and PDR (Paintless Dent Repair)?

Dent repair or PDR first of all requires the right equipment, but for that, the equipment must be combined with professional training so that the damage is repaired correctly according to recommendations and the bodywork appears with the same strength and safety. There are several different PDR techniques that can be used to remove dents from vehicles. The "right" PDR technique depends on the location, size, and severity of the dent, as well as the preference of the technician performing the repair. A skilled PDR technician will choose the best technique based on the specific situation, in order to achieve the best possible results.

Some of the most common PDR techniques

Glue pulling - This technique involves applying a specialized glue to a plastic tab, which is then attached to the dent. The pin is then pulled with a tool to remove the bulge.

Tapping - This technique involves using a specialized tool to gently tap the bump from the back and gradually push it out.

Heating/Cooling - This technique involves using a heat source, such as a heat gun or a Hotbox, to "heat" the panel around the dent. This temperature change causes the metal to contract and the dent can be straightened out.
