Polyester and nylon suits
Polyester and nylon suits are popular choices in protective clothing as they combine durability, flexibility and comfort. These synthetic materials are known for their durability and ability to withstand abrasion, making them suitable for a variety of work environments.
Please note that polyester and nylon suits are generally not suitable for spray painting unless they are specially treated or designed for the purpose.
This is because polyester and nylon are not sufficiently chemically resistant to protect against paint fumes and solvents. As a result, particles can penetrate the material or stick to it, which can both contaminate the painting job and pose a risk to your skin.
In addition, some synthetic materials can generate static electricity, which can attract dust or, in the worst case, pose an ignition risk in certain work environments. It is therefore important to choose the right clothing, especially if you work in a clean environment.
You should go for a type 5/6 protective suit if you want to ensure that you are adequately protected.
