Accelerators can reduce drying and curing time

Accelerators are a special type of additive to support the hardener, which can reduce the drying/curing time of primers, filler, clear coat, and similar products. This is especially helpful in humid conditions where drying times are greatly extended. When rent time is limited in the shop an accelerator is useful to help speed up the drying and curing process to make a repair even quicker.

Sometimes referred to as a catalyst, an accelerator changes the properties of the product it’s being used with by speeding up the chemical reaction that occurs during the curing process.

At LAKGRUPPEN you’ll find a quality selection of accelerators that can be used with a variety of our other products. Shop our collection today!

Accelerators for Clear Coat

Ensure your glossy topcoat dries quickly and evenly with our dedicated clear coat accelerators. These products impart no pigment and don’t affect the clarity of your final coat.

Accelerators for Paint

Get your paint to cure faster with our accelerator additives. These catalyzing components cut drying time down so you can focus on other important steps of your repair.

Accelerators for Primer

Thick primer coats can take an especially long time to dry. If you’re in a humid climate, you could be spending most of your day waiting for your primer to fully cure. An accelerator will shave off drying time so you can apply your next coats in a timely fashion.

Accelerators for Filler

Perfect for a quick repair, accelerators can be added to filler to increase their hardening time and let you move on to sanding sooner.
