Which sanding machine should you choose?
Each sanding machine has its own special characteristics, and each machine is therefore more suitable for some types of work than others.
We are your dealer of brands that are preferred by many auto paint shops and professionals. If you cannot find the product you are looking for, you are more than welcome to contact us, and we can provide it.
Eccentric sander
As the name suggests, an eccentric sander is like a sanding machine, but what makes it different is that the center of the sanding disc does not rotate on its own axis, but instead rotates in a small circle with a diameter of quite a few millimeters, in professional language it is called the swing, and it can be obtained in different sizes. With the swing (circular movements) the eccentric sander is more efficient than the vibrating sander, it also often gives a better result as it "removes" its own sanding tracks. For the same reason, the eccentric chisel has become popular and often chosen by both professional craftsmen as well as private individuals.
Worth knowing about swing, with a smaller swing the sanding is not as efficient, but in return you achieve a finer result.
Shaking pads
A vibrating sander is a sanding machine that moves in circular motions. The sanding pad is typically rectangular or triangular, and is therefore good for reaching into corners. Vibrating sanders are good for fine sanding of larger surfaces, but it takes practice to sand a float with a vibrating sander, due to its circular movements.
Delta sledgehammer
A delta sander or a triangular sander, a sanding machine specially developed for sanding window frames, furniture, edges or corners. The sanding pattern is similar to an orbital sander, but instead of being equipped with a square sole, it has a triangular sole.
Belt sander
A belt sander is an efficient sanding machine, which sands in the same direction, as the belt sander is assembled from a pair of drums, which have the function of moving a piece of sandpaper around. Belt sander is particularly effective when old paint peeling is removed, or the worn wood-surfaced peeling is sanded down. Good for coarse sanding jobs on both metal and wood.
