04380 Polydur Zinc
About the product
04380 Polydur Zinc is a universal knifing polyester putty of medium grain, with very high filling power. Suitable for leveling large irregularities on normal steel sheets and zinc-coated steel sheets on bodywork and commercial vehicles.
04380 Polydur Zinc is characterized by excellent adhesion to steel, zinc-coated sheets, cast iron, aluminium, FGRP (glass fibre). Easy application. Easy to grind. Very high filling capacity. Quick drying, and then it is suitable to be dried with IR lamps (normal and short wave).
Preparation of the substrate
On zinc-coated plates, steel, aluminium. These substrates must be roughened and degreased with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW.
For old coatings, 04380 must not be applied to solvent sensitive coatings and NEVER apply to Wash Primer. In case of previous primer application, use epoxy primers such as 04384 EPOFAN PRIMER R-EC GRIGIO and allow to dry.
04380 Polydur Zinc is a 2K polyester putty, and therefore it must be mixed according to the mixing ratio
1000 ml 1000 g - 04380 POLYDUR ZINC
20-40 ml 10-30 g - 00281 POLYDUR HARDENER
In summer, the catalysis can be reduced to 1% by weight, and in winter it can be increased to 3%
