05500 Spat-O-Rapid
About the product
05500 Spat-O-Rapid is a specially developed nitroacrylic filler for car and motorcycle repairs. Ideal for smoothing out small irregularities on old nitro-combi and thermoplastic paint surfaces. Can also be used on larger surfaces in thin layers.

Substrate preparation
Old paint layers: Degrease with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW
Sanded substrates: Can be applied directly
Application
Applied with a spatula in thin layers
Ready to use - no thinning required
Flash-off between coats: 20 min. at 20°C
Film thickness: 150-200 μ
Drying times at 20°C
Thin coats: 1 hour after last application
Thicker coats: Approx. 3 hours after last application
Sanding
Wet sanding:
- P500 sandpaper for single-colour coatings
- P600 sandpaper for two-layer metallic coatings
Recoating:
Can be overcoated with any topcoat from the Lechler range.
