66021 Base Coat Sparkling Light
About the product
1K matt basecoat specific for two-coat painting processes reproducing the liquid anodised aspect in platinum white colour. Ideal for painting furniture substrates of the habitat field, car components, sporting items and motorcycles.
Bright and luminous metallic effect with high reflecting power. Easy application. Excellent light fastness. Good covering power. Quick drying.
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
On plastic substrates degrease carefully with 00617 PLASTIC CLEANER. On metallic substrates degrease with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW.
Application
1K READY FOR USE PRODUCT. By spray or Air Mix.
Shake the can thoroughly before use to ensure the complete dispersion of the metallic pigment. Due to the characteristic of the pigment contained it is recommended to open the can with care.
Drying time
Flash-off: 2-5 min. at 20°C
Recommended overcoating:
The basecoat SPARKLING must be overcoated with a clearcoat as protection. We recommend the following products: 96230 TIXO KLARLACK 09.
Notes
BASE COAT SPARKLING LIGHT (66021) can be mixed with BASE COAT SPARKLING DARK (66022) to obtain intermediate hues. See TDS for more information.
