About the product
Q-Refinish 70-170 is a two-component acrylic-based clear coat with 15-20 gloss units at a 60° angle. This clear coat provides a uniform matt surface with excellent resistance. It is ideal for finishing matt, satin matt and satin gloss metallic and effect coatings.
Mixing: Mix the clear coat in a 2:1 ratio with hardener 70-170HN and add 10% thinner.
Application: The clear coat is applied with a sprayer. Use a nozzle of 1.2-1.3 mm at a pressure of 2.0-2.2 bar and spray in two layers. Viscosity when applied is 18-20 seconds (4 mm DIN). Layer thickness should be 40-50 micrometers.
Drying times at 20°C:
Dust dry: 25-30 minutes
Touch dry: 12 hours
Ready for assembly: 24 hours
Drying times at 60°C:
Touch dry: 130 minutes
Ready for assembly: 2 hours
