APPLICATION METHOD
The substrate must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease, dust and contamination.

Adhesion to surfaces can be increased by applying and/or combining a pre-treatment process with sanding and cleaning before the activator.

Application

Sika® Aktivator PRO is applied sparingly without subsequent wiping.

The ideal application temperature and the surface temperature of the material are between -10°C and 45°C. Prolonged exposure to atmospheric moisture will cause Sika® Aktivator PRO to become inactive.

Bottle

Moisten a clean, lint-free cloth or paper towel with Sika® Aktivator PRO. Wipe the adhesive surface once, ensuring that the entire adhesive area has been treated.

Consumption and application method depend on the surface condition.

Close the container immediately after use.

Pad

Hold the pad directly against the ceramic edge of the glass, squeeze the handle with thumb and forefinger to break the glass in the cap and release the Sika® Aktivator PRO onto the felt on the opposite side (do not bend!).

Apply Sika® Aktivator PRO to the ceramic edge in one direction, while maintaining full and unbroken contact. End the application after the starting point, to ensure that the entire bonding area is covered.
