LS903 (29903) 1K Matt Base

LS903 1K MATT BASE from Lechler is a high-quality acrylic-based matt basecoat designed for use in industrial production processes and on industrial and vehicle installations. This paint is ideal for a "clear over base" / clear coat over base color application and delivers a smooth and uniform matt finish with excellent durability.

Properties:

Versatile use - Can be used on several types of substrates with the right pre-treatments.

Substrates suitable for:
Plastic materials such as ABS, PP, PA (nylon) and PU after degreasing with 00617 PLASTIC CLEANER and priming with LS920 MULTIPLAST PRIMER.

Metal surfaces after sanding and degreasing with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW and application of an epoxy primer such as LS107 EPOXYPRIMER or LS175 EPOFAN PRIMER R-EC.

1000 parts LS903 1K MATT BASE

500 parts 00825 (Standard) or 00824 (Slow) LECHSYS UNIVERSAL THINNER

Spray viscosity (20°C): 16-18” FC4

Nozzle size: Ø 1.2 mm

Air pressure: 3.5 Atm

Number of coats: 2-3

Recommended film thickness: 20-30 µ

Theoretical coverage:

1 kg mixture: approx. 5.7 m² at 25 µ

1 l mixture: approx. 5.4 m² at 25 µ

VOC content: ~765 g/l (mixture ready for use).

Drying time:
25-30 minutes at 20°C before clearcoat application.

Overcoating:
Can be overcoated with acrylic-based industrial clearcoats for two-coat systems for extra durability and finish.
