Macrofan Ap Autolevel Primer

About the product

Macrofan AP Autolevel Primer is a 2K polyacrylic high solid self-leveling primer and filler for all substrates and a plastic base for all types of plastic A fantastic non-sanding with active anti-corrosion pigments.

An excellent product that, with plastic additives, allows direct application to all plastics used in the automotive industry: PP / EPDM, ABS, PC, PA, PVC, UP-GF, PBT, R-TBU, SMC, PUR.

Autolevel - multiple uses
A primer in a wet-on-wet system with direct adhesion to cathodic coated and plastic substrates in the automotive refinish market; can be directly painted over without sanding (m/w up to 5 days) with repainting. Especially suitable for sealing new parts that have already been primed with a cathodic coating and for all plastic substrates. Or as a sealer in a high build condition for a dry-on-dry system.

You can achieve any shade of gray scale, from white to black, by using the primer/filler, which helps cover the surface and match the colors of the primers used in the O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer).

For the next layer, we recommend using lechler macrofan hs topcoat or hydrofan / bsb base color + clear coat.

PRIMER / SEALER - SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
New parts treated with cathodic coating: degrease with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW or 00665 HYDROCLEANER SLOW / 00699 HYDROCLEANER; if in good condition grinding is not required.

Steel, zinc-coated steel sheet, aluminum: this product has a good direct adhesion to parts made of steel, zinc-coated steel sheet or aluminum; nevertheless apply on large areas 1-2 layers of 04318 FIX-O-DUR EC or
05720 MONOPRIMER is recommended.

Old coatings: dry sanding with P280-320 grit paper and degreasing with 00665 HYDROCLEANER SLOW / 00699 HYDROCLEANER.

Polyester putty: finish with P240 grain paper and degrease with 00695 SILICONE REMOVER SLOW or 00880 SILICONE REMOVER FAST
