About the product
Lechler MC404 is a fast-drying clearcoat with reduced energy consumption that can be used in all conditions and for all types of repairs. For mica, metallic and solid finishes.
Two-pack UHS acrylic clear (VOC < 420 g/l) with a wide range of applications and quick drying. The great application versatility of this product and its HT version make it suitable for the most extreme application conditions (temperatures >35°C).
MC404 Macrofan Avantage UHS Clearcoat is a clear coat developed for both mica, metallic and solid finishes. MC404 can be used both for touch-ups, partial and complete repainting of the car. It is particularly suitable for small repairs; as it allows you to optimize process times/costs, especially in some critical application conditions in terms of environment (high temperatures) and equipment (spray booths with high airflow).
MC404 also contains specific additives AVANTAGE HT, which make it usable under extreme application conditions without sacrificing the final quality and fast drying.
MC404 can therefore be used in the following two versions, STANDARD PROCESS or Hi-Tech PROCESS. Since MC404 is a two-component coating system that requires a hardener to activate the curing process, and depending on which process you choose, the mixing and application conditions are different. Therefore, see the technical data sheet for the correct mixing and application ratio.
