About the product
Mc450 is a 2K UHS acrylic clearcoat based on special polymers that provides exceptional scratch resistance. This clearcoat is perfect for two-coat pearl, metallic and solid finishes. It has been developed for the painting of cars and industrial vehicles where high scratch resistance is particularly required.

1000 parts clearcoat: MC450 MACROFAN AUTOGARD UHS CLEARCOAT
500 parts hardener: MH100-MH110-MH115-MH120 MACROFAN UHS HARDENERS
0-50 parts thinner: 00741-00742-00755 THINNER AUTOREFINISHING
Nozzle opening: 1.2-1.4 mm; 1.3 mm HVLP spray guns
Pressure: 2.5 Atm or according to spray gun manufacturer's instructions
Number of coats: ½ + 1 - 2
Recommended layer thickness: 40-50 µm
Theoretical coverage at 40 µm: 12 m² per 1 liter of mixture; 11.7 m² per 1 kg mixture
Drying times: See technical data sheet for more drying settings.
Notes: If drying is done at temperatures below 60°C, the vehicle must not be exposed to harsh conditions in the first days after painting. Until the film is fully cured, avoid washing as well as strong humidity such as dew, frost and aggressive substances (smog, cleaning agents, road salt).
