Sikaforce 2K Plastlim 50 ml

The product should only be used by professional, experienced users. Testing with actual substrates and conditions must be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

There are two versions:

SikaForce®-301 it is a fast-hardening plastic adhesive based on Purform® Can be sanded after only 30 min.

SikaForce®-302 it is a super-fast-hardening plastic adhesive based on Purform®. Can be sanded after only 10 min.

What they both have in common is less than 0.1% monomeric diisocyanate for better health and work safety. Good adhesion to a wide range of surfaces Fast curing at room temperature. . Can be painted over. No running or dripping. Does not fade.

Application information

Preparation of the surface
Clean and degrease both sides of the workpiece with Sika® Cleaner G+P and wipe afterwards with clean paper. Then sand surfaces with sandpaper grit 80 – 180.

Clean both sides again with Sika® Cleaner G+P and dry with clean paper. Make sure the surface is completely dry and that no moisture remains before the next process step.

Spray a thin layer of SikaForce®-300 Primer on both sides and let it evaporate for at least 5 minutes. Further surface treatment depends on the specific nature of the substrate.

Application

SikaForce is best used between 15 °C and 30 °C (product, ambient and surface temperature).

Press the glue forward without a mixer to equalize the levels. Attach the static mixer, push out a third of the length of the mixing tube and discard it before starting to apply glue to the surfaces.

Apply SikaForce with suitable stamp guns. To achieve correct strength and adhesion, SikaForce requires proper mixing. Therefore, use the supplied mixer tubes for SikaForce (part of the packaging and sold separately).

After application, leave the mixer on the cartridge until SikaForce is to be used again. The remainder of SikaForce®-302 will have a shelf life of several weeks if stored as such.

When SikaForce is to be used again, remove the static mixer and dispose of it properly. Carefully clean the outlet of the cartridge. Then connect a new mixer tube and start application as described above.
Contouring Film and Reinforcement Mesh can be used for recreation and modeling tasks.

Cleaning

Uncured SikaForce®-301 can be removed from tools and equipment with Sika® Remover-208 or other suitable solvents. Hardened product can only be removed mechanically.

Hands and exposed skin areas are cleaned immediately with Sika® Cleaner-350H or a suitable industrial hand cleaner and water.

Do not use solvents on the skin.

SikaForce®-301 must be stored between 15 °C and 30 °C in a dry place. Do not expose it to direct sunlight or frost.
