Teknocryl 1150-00

Teknocryl 1150 is an air-drying topcoat for PVC, acrylic, polycarbonate, compact polystyrene, noryl and ABS. TEKNOCRYL 1150 has limited use on items for outdoor use, if there are requirements for cosmetic durability, gloss and color.

Note Excellent adhesion to the above plastics. Not suitable for metal.

Impact-resistant and elastic. Wear-resistant and nail-resistant surface. Resistant to weak acids and bases, as well as to oil. Quick-drying and splash-proof.

Drying time at +23 °C / 50 % RH. surface dry (ISO 1517) Approx. 15 min. dry to handle (ISO 3678) 1 hour. Drying time at +60 °C / 50 % RH. Dry through after 20 min. Drying time is specified for a layer thickness of 25 µm dry film

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Pretreatment. The substrate must be free of grease, release agents and dust

Application conditions. The surface to be painted must be dry. During application and curing, the temperature of the air, paint and surface must be above 10 °C and the relative humidity must be below 80%.

Application. Air atomization. Use thinner 6060-00 (standard) or 6100-00 (slow). Indicative viscosity DIN cup 4 mm 20 °C 18-22 s 18-22 s
