Pretreatment The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease, oil, rust and scale.

COLD ROLLED STEEL: Degreasing and phosphating.

HOT-ROLLED STEEL: Sandblasted to degree of purity SA 2½ (ISO 8501-1:1988).

GALVANIZED STEEL: Ask technical service.

OTHER SURFACES: Ask technical service.

Application method Air-assisted airless spraying, Airless spraying, Conventional spraying

Application conditions Application must take place immediately after pretreatment. During application, the temperature of the air, the product and the surface must be above +15 °C and the relative humidity below 50%. In addition, the temperature of the surface to be treated and the product must be at least +3 °C above the dew point of the air.

Drying time at +23 °C / 50 % RH (dry film 100 μm):

Dust dry: 30-60 minutes

Stick-free: 2-3 hours (according to ISO 1517)

Can be painted over: Can be painted over with itself after a minimum of 3 hours and a maximum of 7 days.

Forced drying:

Oven or forced drying at 40-100 °C:

Venting time: 10 minutes

Oven time: 20-40 minutes

Cleaning: Water or TEKNOCLEAN 1950-02.
