2K Hi-Speed Clear Coat Satin Gloss

Hi-Speed 2K Clear Coat Satin Gloss is a highly scratch resistant 2-component clearcoat. Due to its very good current and lightness, 2K clearcoats are particularly suitable for spot repairs.

Due to its fast drying time, very good flow and easy polishing, ColorMatic 2K clear coat is particularly suitable for spot repairs. Use the ColorMatic spot blender for spot repairs.

The base color can be overcoated with ColorMatic 2K hi-speed clear coat satin/silk after 30 minutes of drying. 2-3 full coats, 50µ. Allow to dry for 2 minutes between coats. For optimal coating results, bring the can to room temperature before use (20 - 25 °C) and a relative humidity of 45 - 60%. Please note: high humidity can cause loss of gloss.

Drying time (at 20°C, 50% relative humidity): Dust dry: after approx. 5 minutes. Dry to touch: after approx. 5 hours. Drying time depends on ambient temperature, humidity and thickness of the applied layer.

Mixing A-components with hardener:

Remove the protective cap from the bottom of the can and pull the pin out completely using the inserted ring. This will release the hardener into the clear coat. Shake the spray can thoroughly to mix the clear coat with the hardener, for approximately 2 minutes. Perform spray tests before starting.

Pot life: 24 hours at room temperature (20 - 25°C).
