70-425 Thermo Coating Spray
About the product
Q-Refinish Thermo Coating Spray is a particularly heat-resistant special paint based on Silicone resin. Suitable for parts that are particularly exposed to high temperatures. It can be used in the engine area, on the exhaust system, on two-wheeled vehicles, grills, chimneys and all places where temperatures up to 650°C occur. The paint only hardens when slowly heated from 250°C.
Surfaces: Steel
The application takes place directly on the metallic surface. No primer required! No pre-treatment with primer and no post-treatment with other topcoats and clearcoats is necessary.
Do not spray on resin-painted surfaces, as the paint may lift. Remove loose rust, grind and wash off grease. Apply only to dust-free and dry surfaces at a spray distance of 10 - 15 cm
2 spray layers (approx. 15 μm dry film thickness per spray layer). 5 minutes waiting time between layers.
The paint is dust dry: 10 min. Touch dry: 45 min. The stated drying times refer to a dry film thickness of 30 μm and an ambient temperature of 20°C.
Note that the paint only hardens at temperatures above +200°C. Warm up slowly.
After finishing the painting process, the can must be turned over and the valve must be emptied.
