About the product
Motip 2-layer quick-drying acrylic high-gloss varnish with a lasting shine for treated and untreated surfaces, including metal, aluminium, glass, stone and various types of plastic.
Motip clearcoat prevents rust, provides excellent adhesion and is scratch-resistant, impact-resistant, resistant to gasoline, chemicals and weathering.
Pretreatment
The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Sand the surface lightly (grit 600).
Treatment
The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease.
The aerosol must be at room temperature. Best treatment temperature 15 to 25 °C.
Before use, shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample. Distance to the surface to be treated approximately 25 to 30 centimeters.
Apply clear coat in several thin layers for optimal results. Before applying the next layer, shake the aerosol again.
Drying times
Dust dry: After 5 to 10 minutes
Non-stick: After 10 to 20 minutes
Cured: After 2 hours
