About the product
Lechler MC405 Macrofan Power UHS Clearcoat is a quick-drying UHS acrylic clearcoat, with easy application. Clear lacquer developed for both spot repair, partial and full refinishing of cars.
A unique feature of the MC405 clear coat is that it is particularly suitable for small and minor repairs, as MC405 allows you to optimize the entire process times and costs. The clear coat dries quickly at low temperatures and thus offers greater flexibility and more space in the spray booth.
This two-component clear coat requires mixing with a hardener and thinner before application. You can choose between two application methods, either "standard process" or "Power process". In the power process, MT405 power additive is used.
The MC405 clearcoat has an easy and flexible application, which gives good final results under different conditions. Air drying (20 degrees) or low bake drying 60. The clear lacquer has an energy saving process at low bake 60° degrees. Energy-saving drying. Heat the spray booth up to 60°C air temperature, then stop the heating and let the clear coat dry in the spray booth until complete cooling.
Due to the rapidity of the product, it is recommended to only prepare the mixture immediately before its use. It is also recommended to choose hardeners and thinners according to temperature and type of task. See technical data sheet for the many different options.
It is easy to achieve a smooth and shiny finish with MC405. Its very good hardness and smooth finish improve the durability and scratch resistance of the final finish, making it a reliable clearcoat for great results.
