Sikaforce-300 Primer

SikaForce®-300 Primer is specifically formulated for the pretreatment of surfaces prior to the application of SikaForce®-301 and SikaForce®-302 plastic repair adhesives. This primer provides good adhesion without previous activation steps on many substrates.

SikaForce®-300 Primer is used to improve adhesion when gluing to a wide range of plastic surfaces.

Seek manufacturer's advice and carry out tests on original substrates before using SikaForce®-300 Primer on materials prone to stress cracking. This product should only be used by professional, experienced users. Testing with actual substrates and conditions must be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.

The surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease, oil, dust and other contamination.

Application

The optimum temperature for the substrate, surroundings and plastic glue is between 15°C and 25°C.

SikaForce®-300 Primer must be applied in a thin and even layer to the surface in short bursts to avoid dripping or running of the primer. If the pre-treated area is not glued within the maximum evaporation time, the activation process must be repeated (but only once).

Consumption and application method depend on the specific nature of the substrate.
