About the product
Teknocoat Primer 1603 Acid-curing 2K primer for wood with good filling properties and good sandability on chipboard and MDF. Medium thixotropic primer. Meets the E1 requirement in terms of formaldehyde decomposition.

Mixing ratio: 10 parts primer mix with 1.5 parts TEKNOCOAT HARDENER 1399
Spraying: approx. 2.5 parts TEKNOSOLV 1181/1182 for whisk. 25 s DIN 4 / 20 °C
Carpet painting: approx. ½ part TEKNOSOLV 1181/1182 for whisk. 35 s DIN 4 / 20 °C
Pot life: 1 day when diluted to 25 s DIN 4/20 °C.
Drying At 55% RH:
For grinding: 20 °C 3 hours / 40 °C 45 min / 60 °C 10 min
For stacking: 20 °C 16 hours / 40 °C 60 min / 60 °C 15 min
The drying times are based on the applied amount of 150 g of wet primer per m². After forced drying, the items must be cooled below 30 °C before stacking.
Recommended application amount Max 2 x 150 g wet primer per m².

OTHER INFORMATION
Before and after adding hardener, the primer must be stirred thoroughly.
Should not be applied and dried at temperatures below 18 °C.
Should not be applied and dried at a relative humidity above 70%.
