About the product
Teknos TEKNOSAFE 2407-00 is a water-borne intumescent primer for weathered wooden façades. Substrate: Nordic Spruce solid wood boards with thickness 19–57 mm and density 500 ±100 kg/m³.
Used as an industrial primer as part of a system called Teknos FR Façade to improve reaction to fire performance (EN 13501-1) of weathered wooden facades. Before using the product, Teknos should be contacted to check the suitability of the product for the object in question.

Fire retardant properties have been classified B-s1, d0 according to EN 13501-1 (SBI test) in certain systems. Durability classes of reaction to fire performance of fire-retardant wooden façade product treated with Teknos FR Façade opaque in end use applications according to EN16755 DRF class EXT. Teknos FR Façade opaque holds classification according to SP Fire105 and fire resistance K₁10 and K₂10.
