About the product
Opaque, high build, waterborne for exterior joinery finish.
DK-5 Joinery Finish constitutes the top coat in the DK Wood Protection System, which is used on exterior joinery & timber where particular demands for easy maintenance as well as a long maintenance cycle are required.
- Meets EN 927-2:2009 and protects the surface film against surface fouling
- Rapid film formation
- Good bearing strength can be applied in 200-225 microns wet film thickness
- Good non-blocking properties
- Very good durability
- Can be tinted in NCS and RAL shades
- Developed for European conditions
- Gloss: Approx. 30, semigloss
- Thinning: Water. Normally not to be diluted
- Tools: Airmix or Airless
- Application: +20ºC to +25ºC. RF: 50-75%
- Drying: Touchdry / recoatable: approx. 2 hours at 20 ºC and 65% RF.
- Fully hardened: 2 days at 20 ºC and 65% RF
