About the product
TEKNOSAFE FLAME GUARD 2467-10 is a water-based fire-retardant primer and paint for interior solid wood panels and wood walls, as well as wood fiber material.
Substrate: Solid wood and wood-based panels with a thickness of > 8 mm and a density of ≥ 338 kg/m³ with reference to the relevant classification report.
Used as an industrial fire retardant primer or paint as part of a system called Teknos FR Panel with TEKNOSAFE FLAME PROTECT 2468-00 to improve reaction to fire (EN 13501-1) on interior wooden surfaces - see https://www.teknos.com /products/teknosafe-flame-guard-2467-10/.
Before use, contact Teknos to check the suitability of the product in question. The fire-retardant properties are classified according to B-s 1, d0 EN 13501-1 (SBI test). Durability classes for reaction to fire on fire-retardant wood-based products in end-use applications according to EN 16755 – DRF class INT1 and INT2. M1 classification, A+ Émissions l'air intérieur: For industrial use.
- Colors Colorless and base T (transparent colors). All shading recipes are developed by Teknos Shade Service. The color of the base may vary slightly, so it is strongly recommended to check the color after tinting.
