Chrome Spray
About the product
Motip Chome lacquer. A decorative lacquer with metallic gloss to treat surfaces, treated and untreated, of wood, metal, aluminium, glass, stone, and various types of plastic. The lacquer has good coverage and excellent adhesion.
Please note that this chrome paint is NOT weather resistant. This chrome paint is therefore best suited for decorative purposes indoors. Note Motip chrome lacquer cannot be overcoated with clear lacquer.
Pretreatment
The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old paint and rust and sand the surface. Apply a coat of MoTip primer that matches the surface. After drying, the bottom layer is sanded (grit 600).
Treatment
The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. The aerosol must be at room temperature. Best processing temperature 15 to 25°C. Shake the aerosol for 2 minutes before use and spray a sample. Distance to the surface to be treated, approx. 25 to 30 centimeters.
Apply the varnish in several thin layers. Before applying the next layer, shake the aerosol again.
