About the product
EFAmetal Maskinprimer Mat - Series 0100 is an effective primer for corrosion protection of metal.
EFAmetal Maskinprimer Series 0100 is a fast-drying, alkyd-based primer with zinc phosphate as an active corrosion protection pigment.
It is ideal for priming steel and can subsequently be painted over with alkyd-based finishing paints, such as EFAmetal Machine Enamel Series 0130.
Specifications:
Coverage: 8-10 m²/l.
Drying time: Dust dry after 15 minutes at 20°C.
Application:
Can be applied by dipping, spraying or with a brush.
The product is ready for electrostatic spraying. Painting tools are easily cleaned with Esbjerg Synthetic Thinner.
Type: Solvent-based.
Colors: Available in gray and red.
Areas of application:
Suitable for corrosion protection of steel and can be painted over with alkyd-based topcoats.
Advantages:
Fast drying, strong adhesion and effective protection against corrosion.
Notes:
For a product with a lower safety rating, EFAmetal Machine Primer Series 0102 is recommended. Alternatively, EFAguard AK 564 H2O is available as a water-based choice. EFAmetal Maskinprimer Series 0100 is not suitable for light metals or galvanized iron. For a primer with a higher gloss, EFAmetal Machine Primer Series 0101 is recommended.
