About the product
The 3M Mini File Belt Sander is a lightweight belt sander, ideal for cutting and finishing welds. The small size makes it easy to get into many narrow places. Use with 3M Cubitron II sanding belt.
Bringing the reliability and versatility of heavy-duty metalworking belt sanders into the collision repair shop, 3M™ Body Repair Belt Sanders feature a narrow, lightweight design that makes them ideal for automotive work. It operates at 495W and weighs under 1kg – plenty of power and excellent maneuverability for a range of jobs including removing weld seams.
In many cases, the belt sander can replace a traditional spot welding drill. It is also good for effective removal of nail flanges, surface preparation, urethane, nail sealing and cleaning after welding.
