About the product

3M Polyurethane sealant for joints is a moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane product intended for sealing joints during bodywork repairs.

3M Polyurethane Seam Sealer cures to a hard, permanently flexible material within 24 hours when exposed to atmospheric moisture. (The speed of curing depends on the application thickness and environmental conditions.) Temperature resistant from -40 °C to +90 °C (temporarily up to 120 °C.)

Ideal for sealing medium and wide joints on body parts and welds and can even be used on wood or plastic.

Can be used directly on bare steel and can be used as a sealing compound for penetration welds. This should be done while the product is still wet (within 35 minutes of application). The product must have time to cure (at least 45 minutes) before applying water-based primers
