Sika® Primer-507 is based on Purform®, an industry-leading polyurethane with less than 0.1% monomeric diisocyanate for a better working environment. It is a solvent-based black primer that reacts with moisture to form a thin layer. This layer serves as a link between the surface and the adhesive.

Sika® Primer-507 is specially formulated for treating adhesive surfaces before applying Sika's elastic adhesives and sealants. This primer can provide excellent adhesion without prior activation steps on many surfaces.

Sika® Primer-507 fluoresces under long-wave UV light for a limited period. This function is used for in-process control.

Obtain instructions from the manufacturer and carry out tests on the original surface before using Sika® Primer-507 on materials known to develop stress cracks.
