About the product
3M Water-based Coating is a water-based stone impact coating that can be painted over. It is designed to protect surfaces against corrosion and acts as sound dampening.
When the water-based 3M Coating is used together with the 3M Accuspray system and H/O pressure cups, the product can provide a wide range of surfaces – from fine textures to rich effects – simply by regulating pressure and flow.
The protective, anti-corrosion properties and elasticity make this product an excellent stone impact coating.

Application: Protection against stone impact, Corrosion protection, Overflade protection, Restoration of OEM finish, Rust protection
- Base: Water-based (Styrene-Acrylonitrile resin)
- Consistency: Thick thixotropic paste
- Colours: Gray and black
- Drying time: 60 minutes at 23°C and 55% humidity
- Overpainting possible after 30 minutes
- Temperature resistance: -25°C to +70°C
- Application temperature: +5°C to +35°C
- Storage: Cool and dry, between +5°C and +35°C. Shelf life 12 months.
