The product protects the wood surface and the treated area against fungi that destroy the wood or discolor it according to EN 599-1. In addition, the wood becomes more dimensionally stable.

TEKNOL AQUA 1410 can be included in the surface treatment of the window industry's DVC produced windows and doors according to the 2 ECO system, cf. applicable technical regulations for the window industry.

TEKNOL AQUA 1410 minimizes color differences with subsequent transparent surface treatments.

Pre-treatment: The wood must be clean and free of wood dust and dirt. The moisture content of the wood must be: Windows and doors: approx. 13% and must not exceed 15%. Cladding boards: 18 ± 2%.

Application method: Apply in flow coat, by dipping, manual or automatic spraying or brush application. Follow the directions on the label.

Application conditions: The product is supplied ready for use, must not be diluted. The product must be stirred thoroughly before use.

Drying times: Determined at 20 °C and 50% relative humidity: Handling dry: 1-2 hours Re-treatment dry: 2-3 hours
