Afe Flame Protect 2408-00

Substrate: Solid spruce and stick-glued spruce panels with a thickness of 19-57 mm with reference to the relevant classification report.

Pre-treatment The wood must be free of wood dust and dirt. The moisture content of the wood must be approx. 10% and should not exceed 12%. Application method must be Airless spraying, Air-assisted airless spraying. Applied industrially. See technical data sheet for setup.

2408-00 is used as an industrial fire retardant topcoat as part of a system called Teknos FR Façade with TEKNOSAFE 2407-00 to improve reaction to fire (EN 13501-1) on external wooden surfaces

The fire-retardant properties are classified according to B-s1, d0 / B-s2, d0 EN 13501-1 (SBI test) in certain systems. Durability classes for reaction to fire on fire-retardant wooden facades treated with Teknos FR Façade in end-use use are according to EN16755 DRF class EXT. Teknos FR Façade covering has achieved classification according to SP-Fire 105 and fire resistance K₁10 and K₂10.
